Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao said that strengthening the party and bringing the BJP to power in Telangana remains the primary goal of the party cadre. Addressing an Overseas Friends of BJP (USA) meet-and-greet event in New Jersey, he said the upcoming GHMC and Assembly elections are crucial for the party and expressed confidence that BJP would form the government in Telangana.
Ramchander Rao criticised the previous BRS government, alleging that its decade-long rule affected the state's development, while claiming that the current Congress government has also failed to meet public expectations. He highlighted the achievements of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government, including infrastructure growth, Digital India, Make in India, Startup India, Vande Bharat trains, Ayushman Bharat and other welfare initiatives. He also mentioned major decisions such as the abrogation of Article 370, the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and the Women's Reservation Bill.
