Amid recent media reports causing confusion among passengers, South Central Railway has issued an official clarification regarding Vande Bharat train services in Telugu states. Currently, Vande Bharat trains operate on major routes including Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam, Kacheguda–Yeshvantpur, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Chennai, and Bangalore. The railway department clarified:
Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad: Services are paused on Mondays, but operate normally from Tuesday to Sunday.
Kacheguda–Yeshvantpur–Kacheguda: Services are halted on Wednesdays, but run as usual on other days.
The announcement emphasizes that maintenance causes a temporary suspension once a week, while services continue normally on other days. Additionally, Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be introduced in Telugu states next year, offering passengers a more comfortable option for long-distance travel.
