Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy launched a sharp attack on Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan over his recent remarks concerning Telangana politics. Responding to Pawan Kalyan's statements, Anirudh Reddy said that nobody is stopping him from contesting elections in Gujarat if he wishes to do so. He also alleged that Pawan had previously made remarks linking the damage to coconut plantations in Konaseema to Telangana, which he described as an insult to the people of the state.
The MLA further claimed that Pawan Kalyan targeted the Congress party while indirectly supporting the BJP and BRS. He asserted that Andhra Pradesh has a history of changing governments every five years and predicted that political power could shift again in the future. Anirudh Reddy accused Pawan of engaging in provocative politics in Telangana after discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Referring to development funds, he stated that Telangana contributes to religious institutions in other states, including Tirupati, and questioned Pawan's criticism over financial allocations to Kondagattu. He also remarked that people are aware of whom Pawan intended to impress by speaking in English and raised concerns regarding land-related issues near Janwada.
