A recent Team C-Voter snap poll has revealed growing public concern over the handling of the NEET-UG 2026 and CBSE On-Screen Marking (OSM) controversies. According to the survey, 66.2 percent of respondents believe Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should resign over the ministry’s handling of the issues. Notably, 58 percent of respondents who identified themselves as supporters of the BJP-led NDA alliance also supported the demand for his resignation, indicating dissatisfaction across political lines.
The survey further found that a majority of respondents believe educational governance in the country has deteriorated amid the controversies surrounding NEET and CBSE. Opposition supporters expressed stronger criticism, but concerns were also evident among NDA voters. The findings suggest that issues related to examination management, transparency, and accountability have significantly influenced public perception of the Education Ministry's performance. The survey highlights the growing demand for greater responsibility and reforms in the administration of national-level examinations.
