Strict Action Will Be Taken Against Those Who Violate the Law: DGP Shivadhar Reddy

Hyderabad: Telangana DGP Shivadhar Reddy has issued a strong warning that strict action will be taken against anyone who acts against the law in the name of social media. He responded after reports that a TV channel and some YouTube channels published content that harmed the dignity of a woman IAS officer.

The DGP said that warnings about the misuse of social media were already given in the past. He clearly stated that spreading false news, attacking the character of individuals or their families and sharing fake stories about personal matters will not be allowed. He stressed that such actions will lead to legal consequences.
