Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT Nara Lokesh stated that the state is focusing on the development of three major economic regions as part of its long-term growth strategy. Speaking at the Bank of America India Conference 2026 in Mumbai during a session titled “Future Readying India – The Andhra Experience,” Lokesh highlighted the factors driving Andhra Pradesh’s rapid progress and growing global recognition.
According to the minister, strong leadership under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the government's emphasis on the “Speed of Doing Business” have played a crucial role in attracting investments. He cited the successful establishment of Google's AI Data Center in Visakhapatnam and the swift execution of the ArcelorMittal project within just 17 months as examples of the state's investor-friendly approach. Lokesh noted that Andhra Pradesh’s ability to execute projects quickly distinguishes it from many other states and strengthens its position as a preferred investment destination.
