

National, December 03, 2025: IndiGo has issued an official apology after its flight operations across the country were severely impacted for the last two days. The airline acknowledged large-scale disruptions and expressed regret for the inconvenience faced by thousands of passengers.
According to the airline spokesperson, the disruption was caused by multiple unforeseen operational challenges, including
Minor technology glitches
Winter-related schedule changes
Adverse weather conditions
Heavy congestion in the aviation network
Implementation of revised crew rostering norms (Flight Duty Time Limitations)
IndiGo stated that the combination of these issues created a situation that was “not feasible to be anticipated,” resulting in widespread delays and cancellations.
To regain stability, IndiGo has introduced calibrated schedule adjustments that will remain in effect for the next 48 hours. The airline clarified that this step is essential to normalize operations and gradually restore punctuality.
Their teams continue to work round-the-clock to minimize discomfort and assist affected customers. Passengers impacted by cancellations or delays are being offered alternate travel options or refunds, depending on eligibility.
