The NEET question paper leak controversy has sparked nationwide debate. In this context, the Supreme Court has issued a key order regarding the NEET UG retest. The Court rejected a petition seeking to conduct the exam in a computer-based format, stating that changing the exam system at short notice is not practically feasible.
The Supreme Court directed that the examination should continue in the OMR based format, taking into account time constraints and the pressure on the National Testing Agency. It also stated that hearings on exam reforms will be held in July. The NEET retest is scheduled to be conducted across the country on June 21.
