Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen, who is acting in and directing his upcoming film Cult, has announced that the movie will hit theatres on October 30 as a Dasara release. The film is set to compete with Venkatesh’s Adarsha Kutumbam. As part of the promotional campaign, Vishwak Sen organised a special photo session with fans at Sarathi Studios in Hyderabad. However, a much larger crowd than expected turned up, leading to confusion at the venue. With inadequate security arrangements and the sudden surge in attendance, the actor had to leave the event midway. Many fans who had travelled to meet him were left disappointed after missing the opportunity to take photographs with their favourite star.
Following the incident, Vishwak Sen shared an emotional note on social media and sincerely apologised to his fans for the inconvenience. He said the love and response from fans had exceeded expectations and explained that he had wanted to meet everyone but could not do so because of the crowd and insufficient arrangements. He also apologised to those who returned disappointed and promised to organise another photo session soon with better planning, giving everyone a fair chance to meet him. While he thanked fans for their continued love and support, some netizens continued to criticise the event organisers, arguing that the crowd should have been anticipated and adequate security arrangements made in advance.
