

Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. The meeting was marked by a cordial exchange, where Lokesh presented a Mangalagiri handloom shawl and a Lord Venkateswara idol to the CM, while Fadnavis gifted a Ganesh idol in return. During the discussions, Lokesh highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s recent investment inflows, ease of doing business initiatives, education reforms, and skill development policies. He also sought insights into Maharashtra’s best practices in education and IT sectors.
Earlier, Lokesh also met Robin Khuda, CEO of AirTrunk, a global hyperscale data center company. He invited the company to establish a campus in Visakhapatnam, emphasizing the city’s emergence as an AI and data hub. He noted ongoing projects such as Google AI Hub and Reliance AI data centers, stating that Visakhapatnam is highly suitable for data center expansion. Robin Khuda assured that AirTrunk would review the Andhra Pradesh government’s proposal positively.
