Actor and TVK party president Vijay has finally responded to the personal controversies surrounding him. Speaking at a Women’s Day event organized by TVK near Chengalpattu in Chennai, Vijay said that his supporters and party workers should not worry about the issues related to him. He stated that the problems he is facing are not more important than the time and efforts of his followers. Vijay asked party members to focus on public issues while he would deal with his personal matters himself. During the event, he also announced special promises for women and released the party’s manifesto.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s wife Sangeetha has filed an additional petition in court. She requested permission to stay in Vijay’s house in Chennai until the divorce case is completed. She also alleged that Vijay threatened her through his lawyer when she asked for permission to stay in the Neelangarai house. Earlier, on February 24, Sangeetha filed a petition seeking divorce, accusing Vijay of betraying their marriage. The court will hear the case on April 20 and Vijay has been asked to appear before the court on that day.
