In a key move aimed at improving passenger convenience, the Central Government has taken a significant decision by announcing 8 new trains from various stations in Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad). The Railway Department has stated that these new weekly special trains will help reduce passenger congestion and further enhance connectivity between pilgrimage destinations and long-distance routes.
These new services have been introduced following the initiative of Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy. He held discussions with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw regarding the long-pending demand for direct train services from Hyderabad to destinations such as Tirupati, Tiruchanur, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur and Bhubaneswar. Based on these discussions, the Railway Department has decided to operate new services from Kacheguda, Charlapalli and Nampally stations. Of these, five trains will connect to pilgrimage destinations like Tirupati and Tiruchanur, while additional special services will operate to distant locations such as Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Sri Ganganagar. Kishan Reddy expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Railway Minister for approving this decision.
