Atlee’s Mind-Blowing Pay for “Raaka” - Are These Massive Numbers Even Real?

The upcoming pan-India film “Raaka”, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee Kumar, has become one of the most talked-about projects in the country. Ever since its announcement, expectations have been very high and the first look poster increased the excitement even more. Backed by Sun Pictures and produced by Kalanithi Maran, the film is said to be made with a huge budget of around ₹800-₹900 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films.

A major part of this budget is reportedly going towards salaries. Allu Arjun is said to be receiving around ₹175-₹180 crore along with a share in profits, which could take his total earnings beyond ₹300 crore if the film becomes a big hit. Director Atlee is also said to be earning over ₹100 crore for this project, showing the scale and confidence of the makers. Actress Deepika Padukone is expected to play the female lead with a salary of around ₹20-₹25 crore, while Rashmika Mandanna may appear in an important role.

“Raaka” is not a regular action film but is said to combine mythology, science fiction and fantasy elements. Allu Arjun is rumored to play three different roles, including a father and two sons, with unique looks that require long hours of makeup. The film is currently being shot at a fast pace with strong focus on visual effects. The makers are planning to release it as a summer special next year, aiming to deliver a grand cinematic experience.
