GHMC Announces New Zones and Circles!

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has released a detailed zone-wise and circle-wise administrative mapping following its recent restructuring. The document outlines the division of GHMC into multiple zones, including Serilingampally, Kukatpally, Quthbullapur, Charminar, Malkajgiri, Uppal, LB Nagar, Shamshabad, Secunderabad, Golconda, Khairatabad, and Rajendranagar. Each zone has been clearly mapped with its respective circles and the locations of existing municipal, zonal, circle, and ward offices to streamline governance.

According to the details, several circles will continue to function from existing municipal or ward offices, while certain circle offices will also serve as zonal offices. The restructuring aims to bring administration closer to citizens, improve service delivery, and manage the expanded GHMC jurisdiction more efficiently. Officials stated that this reorganisation will play a crucial role in strengthening civic administration, especially in newly added and rapidly growing urban areas.
