In view of the prevailing weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has issued important advisories. It stated that dense fog is likely to persist in several parts of the state until 8 a.m., which may affect road transport and travel. Officials warned that reduced visibility could pose risks to commuters, especially during early morning hours.
According to the forecast, fog intensity is expected to be higher tomorrow in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Manyam, Eluru, East Godavari and West Godavari districts. The department cautioned that visibility may drop significantly during the morning, impacting vehicular movement.
The Meteorological Department has advised people undertaking return journeys during the festive season to exercise extra caution. Motorists are urged to drive slowly and, if necessary, postpone travel to ensure safety. Cyclone Warning Centre official Nagabhushanam stated that fog conditions are being continuously monitored and urged the public to strictly follow official weather advisories.
