The Southwest Monsoon is expected to make its onset over Kerala within the next two days, according to the Visakhapatnam Cyclone Warning Centre. Weather conditions remain highly favorable for the further advancement of monsoon currents across southern parts of the country. Meteorologists indicate that the monsoon could extend into parts of Rayalaseema during the second week of the month, bringing much-needed relief from the prevailing heat.
Meanwhile, a trough extending from Madhya Pradesh to Tamil Nadu is influencing weather conditions over the region. Under its impact, coastal Andhra Pradesh is likely to experience scattered rainfall over the next five days. The weather department has also forecast a gradual decline in temperatures across the state, offering respite to residents after weeks of intense summer conditions.
