The United States has revealed details of China’s secret nuclear tests conducted six years ago. According to U.S. Under Secretary of State Christopher, a massive underground explosion occurred at China’s Lop Nur nuclear testing site on June 22, 2020. The blast reportedly triggered earth tremors measuring 2.75 in magnitude, which were detected by the International Monitoring Center in Kazakhstan.

The U.S. report also mentioned that this nuclear activity took place just a week after the violent Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. This revelation has once again drawn global attention toward China’s nuclear program and its growing strategic ambitions.
