Uncertainty continues over the conduct of Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency (ZPTC) and Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) elections in Telangana, with many aspirants preparing to contest and awaiting official notification. Several candidates have already secured party approvals and are waiting for the election schedule to be announced.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka made key remarks on the issue during an interaction with the media in Khammam. He said the government will take a decision on Zilla Parishad elections. He also stated that the ruling party has performed well in various elections and expressed confidence about future victories. He criticized the opposition BJP, announced welfare initiatives including pensions and insurance schemes, and questioned the Centre over procurement of paddy.
