The makers of Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, have unveiled a new video titled The Vision of Ramayana, offering a glimpse into the making of the mythological epic directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The video begins by highlighting how the Indian epic is celebrated across continents and reflected in art, architecture and everyday life. According to the makers, producer Namit Malhotra aims to reimagine Ramayana in a bold new way for future generations, with the upcoming films serving as only the beginning of a much larger vision. Plans reportedly include video games, merchandise, spin-offs, origin stories, television shows, animated films and theme parks.
The showreel also highlights Brahma AI, an in-house software developed by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios to synchronise lip movements with dialogue across multiple language versions of the film. Behind-the-scenes footage showcases the cast, large-scale action sequences created under the supervision of Hollywood technicians, detailed costume design, music sessions and the efforts of thousands of people involved in the production. However, the team has once again kept Sunny Deol’s appearance as Hanuman under wraps. The film also stars Yash and Sai Pallavi and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 5, 2026.
