Director Clarifies the Female Lead in Ajith’s ‘Dare Devil’

For the past few days, rumours have been circulating on social media that actress Sreeleela has been replaced by Kayadu Lohar in Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Dare Devil. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the casting change. In a recent interview, director Adhik Ravichandran confirmed that Sreeleela, Prabhu, Parthiban and Sunil are part of the film. He also revealed that the shooting will take place in Hyderabad, Malaysia and Bangkok. Unlike Good Bad Ugly, Dare Devil is being planned as an entertaining film that will appeal to audiences of all ages, the director said.

Adhik further revealed that Ajith himself suggested the title Dare Devil. The India portions of the film will be shot in Hyderabad because of the uncertainty surrounding rainfall in Chennai. The shoot is scheduled to begin on November 12, after the Diwali season. Shalini Ajithkumar will produce the film under her Brave Hearts Production banner, marking her debut as a producer. Anirudh Ravichander has been brought on board to compose the music. The film has generated interest among fans, particularly amid the ongoing speculation about its female lead.
