Major Twists in Suriya’s ‘Scene’! Jeethu Madhavan Makes an Interesting Revelation

Expectations are rising for Scene, an action crime entertainer starring Tamil cinema star Suriya and directed by Jeethu Madhavan, known for Aavesham. Nazriya is making her return to Tamil cinema with the film after a gap of nearly 12 years. Suriya plays a powerful police officer, while young actor Naslen takes on the antagonist’s role. Ahead of the film’s scheduled theatrical release on November 6, Jeethu Madhavan’s recent interview has drawn attention. The director revealed that the teaser and trailer would showcase only around 30% of the film’s scenes, adding that major twists and crucial plot details would be kept under wraps.

Jeethu Madhavan also revealed that the film features 13 songs, but releasing them in advance could expose important secrets from the story. He said audiences would get the full experience only in theatres. Explaining the choice of Naslen as the antagonist, the director said he wanted an actor who could appear innocent despite portraying someone involved in crime, adding that Naslen had understood the character in depth. He also praised Nazriya’s natural comic timing, saying it added value to the film. The director further hinted that Suriya’s curly-haired look was connected to a major mystery in the story and said the role would be completely different from his earlier characters in Anbuselvan and Singam.
