Jyothi Poorvaj plays the lead role in the upcoming film Killer, which is scheduled for release on the 30th of this month. Poorvaj also plays another prominent role, directs the film and co-produces it alongside A. Padmanabha Reddy. Presented by Urvish Poorvaj, the film was introduced to the media at a press meet on Tuesday. Speaking at the event, Poorvaj described Killer as a female-centric film and said Jyothi would be seen in diverse roles, including a terrorist, vampire and spy. He added that he plays a scientist and a police officer in the film.
Poorvaj explained that the film’s central concept explores what could happen if neuro-link technology were used on humans, rather than machines, referring to Elon Musk’s research in the field. He also announced a ₹1 crore prize for anyone who correctly guesses a major twist in the second half of the film. The movie’s premieres are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. on the 29th, and participants must send their answers via WhatsApp at 11 p.m. The name of the person who submits the correct answer first will be displayed on an LED screen during the film’s success meet.
