Who Stood by Janhvi Kapoor After Sridevi’s Death?

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently opened up about her personal life, particularly her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya, on the talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’. She became emotional while recalling how Shikhar stood by her during one of the most difficult periods of her life. Speaking about the sudden demise of her mother, legendary actress Sridevi, in 2018, Janhvi shared details of the painful circumstances her family went through. She revealed that Shikhar, who was studying in London at the time, interrupted his education and returned to Mumbai to support her. Janhvi said she learned much later that he had secretly stayed at a friend’s house in Juhu for nearly a month because he was worried about her well-being and wanted to be available whenever she needed him.

Janhvi also recalled how her younger sister, Khushi Kapoor, gathered the strength to stop crying and comfort her after their mother’s death. Although Janhvi and Shikhar have reportedly been in a relationship for several years, they have not officially announced their relationship. However, the actress has spoken about Shikhar’s importance in her life in several interviews. On the professional front, Janhvi recently appeared alongside Ram Charan in ‘Peddi’. She is also set to star in ‘Lag Ja Gale’ with Tiger Shroff and Lakshya. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on May 14, 2027.
