Telangana Government Takes Key Decision on Drought Conditions

The Telangana government has taken a key decision in view of the drought conditions across the state, declaring 365 mandals as drought-affected. Officials have been directed to take immediate relief measures to minimise the difficulties faced by people in the affected areas.

The government has emphasised the need to ensure an adequate supply of drinking water and make fodder available for livestock in drought-hit mandals. It has also directed officials to focus on the effective implementation of employment guarantee works to provide livelihood opportunities to rural residents during the difficult period.
