Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming film ‘King 100’ is generating considerable buzz as one of the most ambitious projects of his career. Directed by R. Karthik, the action thriller is expected to be a significant milestone for the actor. According to the latest industry reports, SonyLIV has reportedly acquired the film’s digital streaming rights for all languages for a substantial amount. However, an official confirmation regarding the deal is still awaited. The makers are also expected to step up promotional activities to build anticipation among audiences.
Nagarjuna and Tabu’s reunion is another major highlight of the film. The duo is set to share screen space again after nearly three decades, following their memorable pairing in ‘Ninne Pelladatha’. Reports suggest that they may face off in an action drama, with Tabu expected to portray a powerful antagonist, although details are yet to be officially confirmed. Aishwarya Rajesh, Sushmitha Bhat, Ashok Selvan and Vijayendra play key roles, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The story reportedly revolves around an ordinary man who builds a vast business empire worth ₹50,000 crore and rises to become a ‘King’, amid financial scams, political tensions and high-voltage action. The film is slated for release on December 24, 2026.
