Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is reportedly performing strongly at the box office across South India. The sequel has attracted considerable attention from audiences and is said to be heading towards becoming one of the biggest grossers of Rajinikanth’s career. Trade reports indicate that the film has collected more than ₹80 crore in gross revenue across the Telugu-speaking states, underlining its strong regional performance.
The film is also reportedly challenging the Kerala box-office benchmark set by Prabhas’ Baahubali 2. According to the trade estimates cited in the report, Baahubali 2 had collected more than ₹72 crore in Kerala, maintaining its position among the highest-grossing dubbed films in the state. Jailer 2 is said to have reached a similar gross figure, with further collections potentially helping it move ahead. If the estimates hold, the film could claim the record for the highest-grossing dubbed movie in Kerala. These figures are based on trade reports and have not been independently confirmed here.
