Supreme Court Relief for Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy in AP Liquor Transport Scam Case

Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy has received relief from the Supreme Court in the alleged Andhra Pradesh liquor transportation scam case. The apex court dismissed the government’s petition challenging the procedure followed for his arrest and the issuance of a production warrant. It also declined to interfere with the bail granted to him by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

As part of the conditions, the Supreme Court directed Kasireddy Rajasekhar Reddy not to leave the country until the proceedings are completed and instructed him to cooperate fully with the police investigation. The directions allow him to retain the benefit of the High Court’s bail order, subject to compliance with the conditions imposed by the Supreme Court.
