Vodafone Idea Shocks Users.. Raises Prepaid Recharge Plan Price

Telecom operator Vodafone Idea (Vi) has increased the price of one of its prepaid recharge plans. The 84-day validity plan, which was previously priced at ₹859, has become ₹899 following a ₹40 hike. The revised price is now available on the company’s official website. However, Vodafone Idea has not disclosed the reason behind the increase.

The ₹899 plan offers 1.5 GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS messages per day for 84 days. Additional benefits include weekend data rollover and up to 2 GB of backup data every month. Eligible users in areas with 5G network coverage can also access unlimited 5G data. The plan further provides access to Bollywood movies, television shows, live news and other content through the Vi Movies & TV app.
