ED Attaches Assets Worth Crores in Punjab

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached 14 immovable properties belonging to the Gian Sagar Educational & Charitable Trust in Ramnagar, Punjab. The assets, valued at approximately ₹1,595.85 crore, were attached under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act as part of an ongoing investigation.

The action is linked to the alleged large scale investment fraud involving PACL Ltd. and its associated entities. According to officials, assets worth around ₹28,626 crore, including both movable and immovable properties in India and abroad, have been attached so far in connection with the case.
