65 electric buses hit the roads in Hyderabad

A total of 65 new electric buses will hit the roads of Hyderabad on Wednesday. These buses, operated by EVTrans, will be inaugurated at the Raniganj Depot in the presence of Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, RTC MD V. Nagireddy, local public representatives, and officials.

The inauguration event will take place at 10 AM.. Electric buses are already running on several routes across Hyderabad. To help reduce the rapidly increasing pollution levels in the city, TSRTC has been introducing electric buses on various routes as part of its long-term eco-friendly transportation plan.
