Centre Honours Telangana Sportspersons with Prestigious Awards

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced the National Sports Awards 2025, recognizing outstanding achievements in sports. The awards were decided based on the recommendations of a selection committee chaired by former Supreme Court judge Justice (Retd.) Arun Kumar Mishra.

Telangana shooters Dhanush Sreekanth and shuttler Gayatri Gopichand have been selected for the prestigious Arjuna Awards 2025. The Arjuna Award recognizes athletes for outstanding performance over the previous four years, along with qualities of leadership, sportsmanship and discipline.
