Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has given his clearest indication yet that his playing career could soon come to an end. The 41-year-old, who currently plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr, said the current season could “probably” be his final year in football. His comments suggest that he could retire after the 2026-27 season.
After nearly 25 years of professional football, Ronaldo said he already has a clear idea about his life after the game. He reflected on the sacrifices made throughout his career and said he looks forward to having more time to live life on his own terms. He also mentioned plans to travel, spend time with his family and pursue activities he enjoys after retirement.
