H-CITI Project to Be Completed Within Two Years, Says GHMC Commissioner Karnan

GHMC Commissioner Karnan said that development works around KBR Park are progressing rapidly as part of the H-CITI project. He said the authorities have acquired up to 800 properties required for the project, while several affected parties have approached the courts challenging the land acquisition process.

Karnan said the H-CITI project is expected to be completed within two years. He explained that the implementation of one-way traffic arrangements would help speed up the movement of vehicles in the area. However, he acknowledged that motorists may face some inconvenience on the first day of the traffic changes. He added that traffic restrictions will remain in place until the project is completed.
