Youth-Focused New-Gen Movie ‘Delulu’ Targets Today’s Generation

Creative Launchpad is coming up with a new-generation youth film titled ‘Delulu’. The title, inspired by a trending Gen-Z term, has already created curiosity among young audiences. The film was officially titled at a student event held recently, with the team presenting it as a fresh and entertaining story aimed at today’s youth. The movie is directed by Preetham Kasthuri and produced by Sankeerth Konda.

Vijay Rajkumar has provided the story and additional dialogues, while Reshmit S Kaushik has penned the screenplay and dialogues. The film features Vijay Rajkumar, Veni Rao, Akhil Jackson, Sai Prasanna, Sri Rama Mandava and Abhinay Thula in key roles. Jai Raj Naidu is handling cinematography, Harikrishna Kurapati is the editor and Aadi Chebrolu is composing the music. Subhash Sake is providing the lyrics, with T Lavanya Reddy handling the colour department.

The word ‘Delulu’ is widely used by Gen-Z as a short form of ‘delusional’. It is often associated with a world of dreams, love, imagination and hopes, sometimes existing between fantasy and reality. The filmmakers have chosen this contemporary term as the title to establish an immediate connection with the younger generation. With a youth-oriented story and a fresh treatment, the film is positioned as an entertaining new-age offering. The much-awaited teaser is scheduled to release on September 3.
