NRIs Should Partner in Promoting Telangana Tourism - Minister Jupally

Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao called upon Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to become ambassadors of Telangana tourism by introducing the state's rich heritage, culture, and tourist attractions to their foreign friends and colleagues. Addressing the 19th American Telugu Association (ATA) Convention at the Baltimore Convention Center in the United States, the minister urged NRIs to encourage international visitors to explore Telangana during their holidays and contribute to the state's tourism development.

The minister praised the Telugu diaspora for preserving Telugu language, culture, literature, and traditions abroad while making significant contributions to the economies of their adopted countries. He announced that he would strive to establish an NRI Bhavan in Hyderabad with an estimated cost of ₹10 crore to provide integrated services for overseas Indians. Jupally also invited ATA teams and NRI groups to adopt tourist destinations and heritage monuments for their development and conservation. Additionally, he urged people to avoid extravagant spending, make better use of government education and healthcare services, and announced the launch of the 'Prabhata Bheri' social awareness campaign to address social issues and youth addiction.
