Governor Calls on Citizens to Uphold National Unity and Integrity

Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla paid rich tributes to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of National Unity Day, also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, observed on October 31. In a statement released ahead of the occasion, the Governor urged every citizen to reaffirm their commitment to safeguarding the unity, integrity and security of the nation.

He recalled Sardar Patel's historic contribution to the integration of princely states after India's Independence and described his role in strengthening national unity as remarkable and unforgettable. The Governor also called upon people to celebrate India's diversity, strengthen the spirit of national integration and work collectively towards building a strong, peaceful and united country.
