Vodafone Idea (Vi), one of India's major telecom operators, has introduced special voice-only recharge plans for customers who do not require mobile internet data. These plans are designed for users who primarily depend on their mobile connections for voice calls and SMS messages. With this offering, customers can avoid paying for data benefits they may not use. Vi's move follows a similar offering from Airtel, providing another option for users who prefer basic mobile services.
According to the details provided, the plans include a Rs. 179 option with 25 days of unlimited calling, while the Rs. 185 plan offers 28 days of validity, unlimited calls and 300 SMS messages. The Rs. 203 plan comes with 30 days of validity, unlimited calling and 300 SMS messages. The Rs. 206 option also provides unlimited calling and 300 SMS messages for a month. These plans may be useful for senior citizens and customers who mainly use their phones for calls. However, users should check the Vi app or official website for circle-wise availability and applicable terms before recharging.
