Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Dr. Danasari Anasuya Seethakka has strongly condemned certain individuals and media platforms for publishing inappropriate, defamatory, and derogatory content targeting women IAS officers. She stated that undermining the dignity of these officers, who work responsibly and are dedicated to public service, is a serious matter that goes against democratic values.
Minister Seethakka criticized the feudal mindset that cannot tolerate women reaching higher positions as the root cause of such malicious campaigns. She emphasized that the Telangana government is committed to empowering women across all sectors and will not tolerate comments or campaigns that demean female officers or attack their character.
She assured that women IAS officers are performing their duties with courage and dedication and that the state government stands fully behind them. She also warned that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in spreading defamatory or inappropriate content. Minister Seethakka called upon society to stand united against propaganda rooted in hatred or disrespect toward women, emphasizing that it is everyone’s responsibility to protect democracy and uphold the dignity of women.
