Beware of Online Betting Trap in the Name of IPL Predictions!

Authorities have issued a warning about online betting scams being promoted in the name of IPL match predictions. Fraudsters and some influencers are misleading the public with false claims, promising accurate predictions about toss results and match winners. They lure people into subscribing to their channels and eventually trap them in betting networks, leading to financial losses.

Cyber crime officials in Hyderabad have taken strict action against such activities. In the past month, around 494 paid advertisements and 129 social media profiles promoting these scams have been blocked. Officials stated that monitoring will continue, and strict legal action will be taken against those involved. Citizens are advised to report such frauds immediately by calling 1930 or filing a complaint on the official cyber crime portal.
