Miss India Earth 2019 winner Sayali Sarve and her four children have gone missing in an incident reported from the Pimpri–Chinchwad area of Pune. The case has gained significant attention as it comes shortly after her recent reconversion to Hinduism. Her parents have lodged a complaint with the police, alleging that Sayali was abducted by her husband and in-laws.
A few years ago, Sayali Sarve had converted to Islam and got married, changing her name to Ateja. However, she later alleged that she faced harassment from her husband after marriage. Recently, she left with her four children and reconverted to Hinduism, adopting the name Adya Surve. Within days of this development, she and her children went missing, raising serious concerns. The Pimpri–Chinchwad police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
