

In New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, along with NDA MPs, expressed gratitude to the President of India Droupadi Murmu for giving assent to the Amaravati Capital Bill. He stated that the President’s approval marks a historic milestone in the journey of Andhra Pradesh’s capital development.
Lokesh praised the decision, saying that Amaravati represents the aspirations of five crore people of the state. He noted that the capital bill, which received nationwide support, has now been formally signed into law, ensuring long-term stability for Amaravati as the capital city.
During the meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Lokesh and NDA MPs thanked the President on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He also highlighted the foundation laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the resumption of Amaravati works after the formation of the NDA government in 2024, presenting documents and visual representations of the capital’s development vision.
