Telangana Minister Seethakka has issued a legal notice to K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), alleging that false accusations related to the Anganwadi mobile phone procurement are being spread through the official social media platforms of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). The notice, sent via registered post by her advocate Naguluri Krishna Kumar, states that such baseless claims are damaging her reputation.

The minister clarified that the procurement process was handled by Telangana Technology Services Limited and that the contract was awarded as per the Tender Evaluation Committee’s decisions, with no personal involvement from her side. She termed allegations of ₹30 crore corruption in a ₹44 crore tender as completely unfounded. Seethakka has demanded that KCR take responsibility for the alleged misinformation, remove the posts within 48 hours, and issue an apology, failing which she warned of civil and criminal action.
