The Telangana government has decided to extend ration distribution until April 30 due to ongoing issues and heavy rush at ration shops. As per central government instructions, ration rice for April, May and June is being distributed at once. This has led to overcrowding at shops, with long queues of beneficiaries waiting to collect their share.
The situation has become more difficult because of technical problems in e-POS machines and slow server performance. In Hyderabad and several other districts, people are facing long waiting times due to these issues. The sudden increase in demand and system delays have made the process challenging for both beneficiaries and shop operators.
To manage these problems, the government has allowed more time for distribution. Officials have also advised people not to panic if they face technical issues and to contact nearby ration offices or civil supplies department officials for help. This step is expected to reduce pressure and ensure smooth distribution to all eligible people.
