

The demise of legendary singer Asha Bhosle at the age of 92 has plunged the Indian film industry into deep sorrow. Known for her melodious voice spanning over eight decades, she sang thousands of songs across multiple languages, leaving an unforgettable legacy. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed grief, stating that her contribution to Indian music is unparalleled and her songs will continue to inspire generations.
Several prominent personalities paid heartfelt tributes. Chiranjeevi remembered her as a rare star in the music world, while Jr NTR said her voice remained the heartbeat of Indian cinema for decades. A. R. Rahman, Akshay Kumar, and Karan Johar also expressed deep condolences. She passed away while undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, and her last rites will be held at Shivaji Park, with tributes pouring in from across the country.
