The Board of Control for Cricket in India has reportedly taken serious note of a controversy during the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Rajasthan Royals manager Romi Bhindar was seen holding a mobile phone inside the dugout, which is against the league’s strict anti-corruption protocols. Young player Vaibhav Suryavanshi was also spotted nearby, allegedly looking at the device, raising further concerns.
The BCCI is actively investigating the matter and is expected to take strict action if any violations are confirmed. Reports suggest that the Rajasthan Royals manager could face a heavy fine or even a ban. Additionally, Vaibhav Suryavanshi may receive a formal warning from the board as part of disciplinary measures. The incident has once again highlighted the importance of maintaining strict compliance with anti-corruption rules in the IPL.
