Actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly brought closure to the ongoing controversy related to the film Kantara by submitting a revised apology in court. The issue began after his mimicry of a scene from the film at an awards event, which led to criticism and legal proceedings in Karnataka over alleged disrespect toward cultural traditions.
According to legal representatives, Ranveer Singh expressed regret through a fresh affidavit, stating that he now understands the cultural and religious sentiments involved. He also mentioned his respect for Karnataka traditions and expressed willingness to visit the Chamundeshwari temple in Mysuru as a gesture of apology and devotion. With the revised statement submitted in court, the matter is now expected to move toward resolution.
