Quick commerce has become extremely popular in India, with services offering deliveries in just 10 minutes surprising many international visitors. Following the success of its “Amazon Now” quick commerce services domestically, Amazon is now preparing to launch similar services in the U.S. and Europe. The company had previously introduced quick commerce in India and the UAE last year.
According to Amazon documents, the “Amazon Now Ultra Fast Delivery” service delivers items within 20 minutes, and customers are highly supportive. India currently has around 360 micro fulfillment centers, with numbers steadily increasing. Monthly orders for Amazon Now are growing at a rate of 25%. Reports indicate that 70% of customers are interested in quick commerce services even without discounts, and the sector is growing 11 times faster than other E-commerce formats. With this success, Amazon aims to expand its quick commerce services internationally.
