Dhanush’s Political Entry Sparks Buzz; Vijay’s TVK Welcomes Him

Speculation about actor Dhanush entering politics has been growing in Tamil Nadu. Reports that his fan club has been renamed “Dhanush Narpani Iyakkam,” along with his recent meetings and increased social activities through fan groups, have fuelled discussions about a possible political debut. There have also been reports claiming that a political party named “Tamilaga Ezhuchi Kazhagam” has been registered in his name. However, these reports have not been officially confirmed by Dhanush, and he has yet to announce any decision to enter politics.

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), the party led by actor Vijay, has responded positively to the speculation. TVK spokesperson M. Sathyakumar said the party would welcome Dhanush if he decided to enter politics. He also noted that Vijay had left his film career to focus on politics after working towards that goal for around 30 years. Sathyakumar stressed that establishing a political party is only the first step; building the organisation and winning elections are separate challenges. He added that anyone entering politics must be prepared to devote their full time to the field. For now, Dhanush’s political plans remain unconfirmed.
