₹1,000 crore released for the development of Osmania University; Government issues a GO.

The Telangana government has issued a GO releasing ₹1,000 crore for the development of Osmania University. Despite the university’s strong history of questioning leaders, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the campus and reviewed future development plans.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that some questioned his visit and called it bold, but he clarified that it was not courage, rather affection towards the university where many students like his “younger brothers” study. He stated that he came with love and a vision for OU’s future.
