Speaking from Jagtial, BRS Chief KCR once again leveled severe criticism against the Congress government. He recalled the numerous insults he endured in the struggle for statehood and reminded the public that Telangana was achieved through their blessings. He alleged that the current government is throwing into chaos a state that had been governed prosperously for ten years. He issued a call for a re-consolidation of political forces to come forward and undertake the reconstruction of Telangana. He expressed absolute confidence—"one hundred percent"—that a BRS government would return to power.
During the 'Prajashirvada Sabha' (Public Blessing Meeting) held in Jagtial, KCR welcomed former Minister Jeevan Reddy into the party fold and felicitated several other leaders by draping party scarves over them. He stated that the state's financial situation has deteriorated and that farmers, laborers, and government employees are facing hardships. He criticized the fact that land prices have plummeted and that farmers are not receiving fair prices for their crops. He further pointed out that arrears regarding student fee reimbursements have mounted, the Singareni Collieries Company has suffered setbacks, and irrigation projects have been subjected to neglect.
KCR criticized the Congress government, noting that the promises it made have not been fulfilled and that no new welfare schemes have been launched. He reminded the audience that, under BRS rule, initiatives such as 'Palle Pragathi' (Village Progress) and various rural development programs had stood as models for the entire nation. He remarked that, currently, both towns and villages are suffering from neglect. He issued a call to all citizens to unite and bring the BRS back to power. Strongly opposing the move to install electricity meters on agricultural borewells, KCR called upon the people to prepare for a struggle against this initiative. He criticized the Congress government, pointing out that while they had previously rebuffed pressure from the Centre on this very issue, the current administration is now acquiescing to it. He emphasized that, for the sake of Telangana's future, another struggle is necessary.
